Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Technical Team Lead to work in a team environment, to lead the design, development, and implementation of our system.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Provide technical leadership to the overall program (consisting of core team, internal ISD teams and vendor delivery teams)
• Mentor the core application development team members through technical problem and challenges that arise during the various stages of the SDLC lifecycle
• Establish guidelines and standards that need to be followed by all tracks of the program (for all phases of the SDLC)
• Ability to guide the development team with prototype code and help with debugging when necessary.
• Review the code and deliverable being created for the overall program
• Assist the project manager with the technical aspects of the project plan for the entire program
• Assist the project manager in managing the technical risks for the overall program.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: (all required, unless indicated otherwise)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline, or have equivalent experience.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills – ability to work with people with a variety of skillsets.
• 7+ years of general IT experience of which 5+ years in a Technical Lead Role
• 5+ years leading delivery of J2EE based systems, preferably on Websphere Platform.
• 2+ years experience with integrating .Net applications in a Service Oriented based architecture.
• 2+ years using experience with Integration Projects (EAI products like WebSphere Integrator, TIBCO, Web Methods, etc.)
• Experience with J2EE portals
• Strong Unit Testing, Itegration Testing and System Testing abilities, including automated testing techniques using MAVEN, ANT, etc.
• Experience with telematics program and development of applications to mobile platforms.
• Knowledge: (all required, unless indicated otherwise)
• Strong Object Oriented Analysis and Design Skills, Web Service
• Must have application design experience using UML
• Good understanding of the different architecture patterns and their tradeoffs
• Must have experience in service oriented architecture
• Experience with implementing and deploying solutions on Enterprise Service Bus platform.
