Job: Sr Clarity Developer

NetServe Systems is looking for a Senior Clarity Developer for its Clarity production, enhancement, and project team. This position requires the ability to quickly understand business processes for the IS organization and translate them into systems that will support the objectives, the ability to assess project estimates for reasonableness, and a strong knowledge of Clarity’s full solution. Should also have a strong customer orientation, be very results oriented, have a broad vision, excellent communication skills, detailed technical development successes, and proven leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production, enhancement, and project support of Clarity as an enterprise Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system.

• Manage ongoing enhancements and improvements to the PPM, Labor Tracking, and other solution.

• Develop custom process work flows to support the Labor Tracking and Financial Management processes.

• Developing/writing technical documents such as scope, design, and technical specifications based on the business processes.

• Design and Develop Technical and End User Training documents.

• Designing and Developing Custom interfaces from Clarity to Enterprise Financial Systems

Experience

• Experience in implementing, configuring and providing end-user support for the Clarity PPM solution.

• Must have 4-7 years of experience with Clarity with at least 3 full-time years in this specific role and at least two (2) implementations of new or major upgrades. (Required.) Will consider those with slighltly less years of experience.

• Experience with at least Clarity 8.1 is required. (Prefer Clarity version 12 since our current version)

• Expertise in Clarity process design (GEL), XOG (XML-based), and configuration is required.

• Must have implemented Financial Management within Clarity. (Preferred.)

• Must have the ability to create, and document procedures and packages in SQL Server 2005 in a complex environment (highly preferred)

• Expertise in designing and developing Executive Dashboards within Clarity and writing Complex custom Portlets is a must.

• Extensive knowledge of Labor Tracking (required), Demand Management (required), Project Management, Application Management, Financial Management, and Resource Management within Clarity is highly preferred. Integration with a large financial package is required.

• Expertise in analyzing Business and Technical Specifications, Use Case definition, and Detail Design

• Proven experience developing and implementing reporting templates and procedural documentation.

• Strong skills in Business Analysis, OO Analysis, Data Analysis, Requirement Analysis, Business Modeling and Use Case Development.

• Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suites, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, and MS Visio.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential as is attention to detail. (Required.)

• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and/or software development methodology.

• Expertise with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Access, Power Point, and MS Project.
