Further enhance business processes, automate data collection capability and audit reporting using AHM’s asset repository (HP AssetCenter) to provide consistency, speed and repeatability.

American Honda Motor Co., Inc. seeks a Senior Business Analysis-role to provide full time support for a project. This position requires the ability to lead project business and technology requirements efforts, quickly understand business processes for the IS organization and help translate them into systems that will support the objectives, and balance diverse objectives. This work is often done in real-time mode in a complex environment.  Should also have a base project management, senior business/systems analysis skills, customer orientation, be very results oriented, excellent communication skills, application and project successes, great team-working skills, and proven leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Hands-on senior business analyst lead for project support of critical IT applications.
Work with small teams in all aspects of understanding, documenting, and enhancing business, applications, and technology requirements to meet the vision of the company and the project.
Proven experience leading business and technical requirement sessions.
Proactively identify stakeholder area’s strengths and weaknesses and suggest areas of improvements.
Develop application process work flows.
Develop/write technical documents such as scope, design, and technical specifications based on the business processes.
Design and develop technical and End User Training documents.
Lead project all testing efforts.

Experience:

Must have minimum of 5 years of Sr. BA experience including leading business requirement sessions. (required)
Must have IT project support experience with formal SDLC project methodology of at least 4 years. (required)
Must have at least 3 more years of hands-on related application experience with various platforms. (required)
Managed/supervised a team (at least 2 other team members). (required)
Expertise in analyzing and helping to create procedural documentation, business/technical specifications, use case definition, and detail design. (required)
Expert in MS Office Suites, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Visio, including real-time updates during meetings. (required)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential; as is attention to detail. (required)
Strong understanding of software development life cycle and/or software development methodology. (required)
Experience with these applications: HP AssetCenter, software and hardware discovery tools.  (preferred)
PMP, IT Service Management, TQSM, and other training and certificates (preferred)
Prior technical experience as programmer, application administrator, reports writer, etc. (preferred)
