NetServe Systems seeks a highly-motivated, experienced senior business analyst to work in a team environment, applying the best business analysis principles to the scope, design, development, and implementation of the system.

The primary role will be to provide business analysis, including Functional Design, support of Technical Design, Testing support, coordinate the efforts of the internal AHM teams, lead the business knowledge transfer to vendor, and quality acceptance of vendor-provided deliverables for all subsequent phases.

Reporting to the project manager, the candidate will be the primary business liaison to define, decompose, analyze business and functional requirements of the system, and develop the custom solution. The candidate will be the key liaison with business users, technical teams, and vendor team (for technical design, development, testing, and implementation phases), and be responsible for translating business requirements into technical requirements and delivering the solution. The candidate will also be responsible for coordinating testing activities, as well as supporting user documentation and training efforts.

The candidate will be responsible for the following:

* Leads the business analysis track of the project.
* Coordinate the assignment of responsibilities and work estimation efforts to/from other project team members.
* Primarily responsible for the development of Functional Design specifications, including analysis, documentation, QA reviews, and management using various techniques, including: requirement workshops, JAD sessions, interviews, document analysis, and system review. Validate that the business requirements are being met in design and development.

* Business analysis deliverables, including: business process / task / workflow descriptions, business process models, use cases, use case diagrams, scenarios, business rules, reports design, and user interface visualizations.
* Understand Logical and Physical Data Model and work with the Data Architect to verify the data model
* Be the liaison between business, technical, and other project teams.
* Communication of business and functional requirements to technical and non-technical staff.
* Organizing, tracing and tracking requirements, including changes, throughout the project.
* Ensures the end-to-end process requirements are covered in the documentation produced by the participating project teams.
* Understanding and ensuring AHM templates, tools and methodology are utilized within the project.
* Coordinating with user documentation and training groups.
* Supporting users during UAT and rollout phase.
* Overseeing the definition, writing, and quality checks of testing strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
* Coordinate and participate in testing activities. Analyze test progress, including defect metrics.
* Estimating resource and work effort for project phases.
* Provides estimates for any AH internal (non-vendor) resource, schedule, and work effort, collaborating with Enterprise teams.
* Monitor, QA review, and approve the structure and content of the documents prepared by the vendor.
* Manage scope creep.
* Understanding the users’ business process and assisting the project team, including vendor, with understanding the business processes, including process definition, analysis, design, and test cases.

Required Qualifications:

Experience (all required, unless indicated otherwise):

• Bachelors degree.
• 10 years or more experience as a Business Analyst on large, multi-team, multi-phase projects dealing with multiple, complex process areas and business groups.
• 5 years or more leading a team of 3 or more analysts.
• Automobile industry experience is a definite plus.
Knowledge (all required, unless indicated otherwise):
• Strong ability to elicit and organize requirements in a clear and concise manner
* In-depth experience in structuring and writing use cases.
• Strong knowledge of process discovery and process decomposition.
• Strong skills in facilitating joint application design sessions and driving consensus in teams.
* Strong use of desktop application usage MS Visio, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
• Understands basic concepts of technology (XML, SOA, applications)
• Experience in project management, application development, and testing methodologies.
• Experience in creating SQL queries for data verification during testing
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred – Experience in business requirements management tools (e.g. IBM Rational RequisitePro or other)
• Preferred – Experience in test management tools (Mercury Quality Center / Test Director)
