American Honda Motor Co., Inc. seeks a Performance Testing expert to provide hands-on testing support for project activities. This position requires the ability to quickly understanding project
components to help project teams prepare Performance Test Scripts and Scenarios that will support the project’s quality objectives. The candidate should also have analytic and problem solving
skills, customer orientation, be very results oriented, excellent communications skills, application and project testing successes, great team-working skills and proven leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Perform Performance testing activities, including scripting, execution and results analysis.
Consult with project teams to foster and promote sounds testing techniques across the IT division, including the demonstration of the value of testing services.
Provide hands-on testing leadership for projects.
Co-ordinate with multiple departments to get testing needs fulfilled
Prepare project support activities and schedule as part of a project’s overall Testing Plan.
Provide communication to project teams and ensure support is carried out in accordance with schedule and quality requirements
Provide estimates and feedback to the project team for Performance Test Executions
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of recent Performance Testing experience with HP Loadrunner
Mastery in Performance Testing skills including, scope, script creation, configuration, execution, analysis, resolution, retesting, closure of Performance Testing
Extremely proficient with Web HTTP / HTML Protocol in Loadrunner
Expert in Correlation with Loadrunner and should be able to have a quick turnaround with scripts
Minimum of 7 years of IT project support experience with SDLC project methodology
Solid interpersonal skills to work across the teams and organization to effective troubleshoot as necessary and contribute with no supervision for all testing related activities
Good communication skills (verbal and written) to interact effectively with the project teams
Thorough knowledge of structured test methods and processes
Expertise in MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Experience in HP QTP and QC (preferred)
Experience with various applications and platforms (preferred)
Automotive sales and distribution industry/functional experience (preferred)
Performance Testing expertise, QA/Testing expertise, application development, production and project methodology, working in a matrix environment, patient yet driving, team building and
collaboration, interpersonal skills, and results orientation with focus on customer needs and quality.
